Fun House Wee Z

Fun House WeeZ Posted by Hello

A Word from Wee Z:
Upon review of my first chapter in the book of woes, it came to my attention that an edit was necessary. Mr. Darling Pants is not the most ridiculous name that my parents have for me. It's Giggle Fluff. Could someone please rescue me?

Disclaimer for Previous Posts:
Wee Z? This is mom here. I just wanted to let you know that I had nothing to do with the blog entry talking about your gastrointestinal discord. I would never do that to you. Now do you love me best?
And speaking of my little Giggle Fluff, I think some bragging is in order...

Communicative Developments:
Our precious boy is trying so hard to communicate with us. Ooo's and Aaahh's are old hat now; he has added M, G and B to the the mix. His repetoire is exponentially growing as he learns to combine these sounds. What a champ. Could it be that he is trying to say Maaa maaaa? Or perhaps Buhh beee? Where Z takes us, nobody knows! He has also mastered the art of the baby laugh, which is somewhere between a wheeze, a squeak and a chuckle. It is, of course, just adorable.

Gross Motor Feats:
Z is still trying his best to consistently get that fist into his mouth. Sometimes he punches his forehead, smacks his cheek or pulls his pacifier out of his mouth... not really what he is shooting for, but still closer than he was the day before.

However, he is showing a great deal of accuracy in his grabbing skills. (Unfortunately, this includes mom's hair and dad's glasses.) The playmat, used in the picture of the day, has a monkey and a giraffe that he is terribly fond of. His favorite thing is to smack them both at once, and watch them swing. More photos of Z at play...

Within the last week and a half, Z has started grasping our clothes while we hold him. Sometimes he is just trying out the texture of our clothes and skin, and other times he is holding on for more cuddling. Both mom and dad agree that this is our favorite of his new tricks.

WeeZ,

I've got that same playmat - Y'know what?
Man, do I look freaky in that mirror... Don't fret, kid. Check yourself in your rent's looking glass!
