Antenna by the Sea
Z and I took a couple days to visit his Antenna (Aunt Hannah... AuntHanna... Antanna... you get it...) at her cabin by the sea in Cambria. Unfortunately, we were the recipients of a generous gift while in Bakersfield, that we brought along to Cambria. The stomach flu. Therefore, our day at the beach was again less than ideal. Fortunately, Antenna was still a great tour guide, and pointed out the seals, a sea otter and some other fun sea life. This was my favorite photo because it looks like the two of them are standing in the ocean.

Eventually, he woke up and took a tiny bit of interest in the crashing waves. I expect he will find things much more interesting in the years to come, when he spends summers with his naturalist Antenna. His dad and I are certainly in no position to teach about nature and other such things!

It does look like they are standing in the Ocean (the hood is the visual effect secret). Sorry to hear that you received "the gift of the flu" 2 months in a row:(.
