Bully boy
We met our first bully at the park today. Not only does the park have lovely swings and delicious slides, but it also has a tiny little plastic house, complete with tunnels, steering wheels, movable flowers and bees. It's super cool. Zach and I cruised over today, and were delighted to find other neighbors frolicking in the tiny house. Except for one kid... somewhere between 18 and 24 months, this kid was laying down a hefty smack on a one year old soon after we arrived. The one year old screamed, parents intervened, and it was over. His mommy assured us that he really loves babies... yeah he does. I let Zach play in the house with this rat for a little while, til I heard my precious babe crying for my help. He was on his back, and the mini lug was on top of him. His mom said Zach fell on his own (yeah right), then her son was trying to smack him out of the way so he could crawl through the tunnel.
Though his mom was very apologetic and properly reprimanded her child, Zach was inconsolable. He sobbed and sobbed, then started spewing rocks all over my shoulder. Did I mention he tries to eat the pebbles in the house? He looked like he was a demon baby. Anyway, no rocks were inhaled and Zach has no bruises, so we made it out unscathed. But it was still traumatic.

UGH. I am driving to Austin right now and would appreciate Z identifying the little bully so I can give him a proper southern spankin'. Come on Z let's go.

My poor Z, he has a car full of Aunts at his beck and call to come teach that little brat a lesson!
Oh yeah, can you get a pic of him spewing rocks next time? That would make a great xmas card! :)

Are you sure that bully didn't try to stuff the rocks down his throat? You'd better call Logan over for some back up.

that swing photo is very cute. normally bully talk would get me all wound up, but all i can say is "weeeeeeeeee." maybe the longhorns winning a national championship this year could make me that happy. MAYBE... but i doubt it. nonetheless, weeeeeeeeee!
