New Jersey: They won us over!
Zach accompanied me on a trek back to old New Jersey to say goodbye to his great, great Uncle Harold. Memorial services rarely set a cheerful tone, but amazingly this one did - after all, how can you be sad when he had 95 years of good living?
Nana Too, took us on a tour of the New Jersey she knew as a child (like NINETY years ago!!!), and gave us occasion to celebrate the fruits of fall on the east coast. Aunt Hannah, Zach and myself stopped in Tewksbury to walk about and snapped a few shots in the town. Later, we took Zach to the apple orchard. Zach had his first whole apple, which he gnawed on for a good hour before falling asleep with it still in hand. By the time he was done with it, there were easily 80 little tooth marks and a couple hunks wedged out of that thing. Good hard work and diligence paid off.

I'm so glad you enjoyed my motherland. Thanks for writing such a positive review of New Jersey. It's not such a bad place after all, right? Remember, New Jersey, three quarters of it is nice!

Wow, in that last pic he so looks like a little Jesse. :) Maybe if he eats an apple a day the bad costumes will stay away.

Sorry to hear about your uncle. Are you sure that first picture wasn't taken in Bako? I see a John Deer tractor like the one down the street from my house!?!?
